IDCS High-Performance Computer
The Ecole polytechnique service unit IDCS operates a high-performance scientific computing facility within the IP-PARIS computing center meso@IP-PARIS. Its modern parallel supercomputer called Cholesky aims to serve the scientific community of mathematics (CMAP, CMLS, UMA), physics (CPHT, LPP) and solid mechanics (LMS).
IDCS provides also support and expertise to scientific communites through its IT staff engineers.
Failure
Cholesky (and its Hedin, Hopper, Montblanc, Tianlong partitions) cluster is actually down. The technical team is actively working on upgrading the infrastructure and is doing everything possible to ensure pre-production is ready by the end of March 2026. We invite you to request computing hours (Dynamic Access) on GENCI national computing centers.
